  I wanted to write a quick review of Home Instead. When my father turned 90 he was still living alone but needed help around the house on occasion. Home instead helped us work with his VA benefit so he could have someone come into his home to help him a few days a week. We chose Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Home Instead was so understanding and flexible working with my father until we had the perfect match for him. Linda became almost like a relative to our family because she was so caring and helpful. She helped my dad around the house, drove him to the store to shop and provided companionship! My father lived another 5 years after 90 and I believe Linda and Home Instead were a big part of him being able to enjoy his final years. Thank you Linda & Home Instead!

  We feel like our caregiver Cheyanne was literally an angel plucked right out of heaven to take care of my Mom. With my Mom almost 80 years old and diagnosed with Parkinson’s 8 years ago, keeping her safe and her home has been a challenge. We called Alyssa at Home Instead who promptly scheduled a home visit. Within 2 weeks she had matched us with our caregiver, Cheyanne. After her first shift we all knew we had really found a match made in heaven with Cheyanne and my Mom. When my Mom had hip replacement surgery Cheyanne was willing to work longer shifts and added days. During this stressful time I can’t adequately put in to words how grateful we are for Home Instead, our facilitator Alyssa, our scheduling and billing contact Michelle and our honorary little sister, our angel, Cheyanne.   Jean Q. has been a wonderful presence in my Mom's life. Jean is warm, thoughtful, trustworthy and considerate. As a parent ages, it's important that they have social contact. What's great about Jean is it's clear she enjoys my Mom's company, and my Mom enjoys hers. The qualities that Jean brings are quite important for an independent person like my Mom as well as a son that wants her to be well cared for.

  Our caregiver is a marvelous person. She is pleasant to be around, works hard while she is with us and goes out of her way to provide for our care. We couldn't ask for a nicer person to spend our day with.
