I came in looking for non-prescription sunglasses for a wedding in two days, found a pair I liked, and tried to buy them, but they didn’t have sellable stock and wouldn’t sell the display pair. Shipping options were 14 days standard or 10 days for $25, which feels pretty outdated for regular sunglasses. They found a pair at the Burlingame store but would only hold it for 24 hours, not for two days when I could actually coordinate a pickup. I get that this was a rush purchase, but the whole experience felt unnecessarily rigid. There were apparently several pairs nearby, yet no easy way to buy online and pick up in store, reserve for a reasonable window, or purchase the display pair. The staff were polite, but the policies made it feel like they were more focused on procedure than helping a customer complete a purchase.
