During check-in, I was asked if I wanted a dilation test that can make vision blurry for a few hours, but it was not performed and I was not given a clear explanation. After the exam, I ordered prescription lenses for my own sunglasses frame. The pricing explanation during checkout was not clear. I was told insurance was paying over $150, but it turned out to be a network discount and my actual insurance benefit was much smaller. When I picked up the glasses, the lenses were not fully clean, which made it hard to see clearly while trying them on and check the fit in store. The exam and glasses are ultimately fine, but the communication and overall experience were disappointing compared to another LensCrafters location I visited previously.
