- MMMareSep 18, 20263.0I’ve been to pretty much every core power studio in the Bay Area and this one definitely has the best instructors, but is also the dirtiest studio. The whole place needs a bit of a renovation. One really gross thing is they don’t wipe the floors in between classes so on multiple occasions, I’ve stepped on sweat from previous class while trying to set my map (yuck). Yoga memberships are not cheap so I would expect at least some basic cleanliness but the entire floor at this place is STICKY. And you can tell the place is not well ventilated I genuinely get worried about mold on particularly hot days. It can really smell inside the studio as other reviewers have mentioned. Parking is not impossible in the area, but I do recommend leaving at least five or 10 minutes for it. The only class I didn’t really like was Alyssa’s. I loved the sequence, but she was yelling like a drill sergeant for an hour straight, and because of the acoustics in the room, I couldn’t understand a word she was saying. Her screaming actually drowned out the sound of music it was that loud. I think it would’ve been better if she provided more instruction in a normal more enunciated voice instead of screaming the whole time.
