La Maestra Community Health Centers' Wellness Supportive Services Department

La Maestra’s Wellness Supportive Services is staffed with a diverse and caring team of medical and behavioral health professionals, substance use disorder counselors and case managers to guide community members through the journey to recovery. The program offers Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), which is a form of substance use disorder treatment for individuals experiencing withdrawals, cravings, and/or irritability due to opioid or alcohol use dependency.Wellness Supportive Services’ outpatient substance use treatment includes individual counseling, support groups, case management, personalized treatment plans, crisis intervention, substance abuse education, medication management, therapy, and referrals to additional services.
