  I've been riding at CycleBar Hillcrest since 2019 and have logged more than 750 rides. What started as just tagging along reluctantly with my daughter has become so much more. The instructors consistently deliver challenging, motivating classes that push me to be stronger every time I clip in. Every single staff member has made an effort to get to know me, which does NOT happen everywhere. More importantly, this studio has given me an incredible community. I've made lasting friendships and have always felt welcomed, supported, and included, regardless of my fitness level or what kind of day I'm having. CycleBar Hillcrest is a place where I feel safe, encouraged, and genuinely happy to be.

  Update: As shown below, Joey from the studio reached out to me, explained the assignment system for ClassPass as well as acknowledging that day’s missed opportunities. I am changing my review due to the positive feedback and prompt response. Thank you Joey for your kindness and understanding. I am giving this class a 1 star not because of David. He’s wonderful. My rating is due to the poor customer service. If the studio is going to discriminate class pass then don’t be on it. They gave me a bike with a broken monitor purposefully with no warning. When I went to tell them after the class, the woman with the ponytail was like “oh yeah sorry, we had a full class” really? So, you know it’s broken and you don’t care… ok. I took the class so a refund in my credits would be “too much” but at least a discount or some sort of “I care” would be nice. I then told her “37 was free” and she answered “it was a no show” well, if you’re a semi nice person and employee you would’ve said something. I’ve been coming to this studio for a while. I even tried with a membership at Scripps but my schedule is all over. This mindless deed really messed up my experience.

  So glad I tried out Cyclebar. It’s my first spin class experience and it was great. They even incorporate strength training for the upper body during class! The class is an excellent workout and a good way to crosstrain. The staff are very friendly, helpful and make every class fun. Some of the classes are themed to a certain music artist which I love! I highly recommend checking out Cyclebar!

  Great studio with great teachers. The music is lively and the studio is very clean. They provide shoes, towels and have a water filling station. In the afternoon go early so that you can find parking—that can be a challenge. Overall highly recommend!
