  Comfort Keepers gave my 92-year-old mother her independence back — and gave me my life back. When my mum needed help getting up and dressed each morning and putting on a back brace she can't reach herself, every home-care agency I looked at wanted a four-hour daily minimum. That wasn't what she needed, and the cost of it would have pushed us toward full assisted living — the one thing she desperately didn't want. Comfort Keepers said yes to a short daily visit. That single decision is why my mother is still living in her own apartment, on her own terms, instead of in a care facility. I cannot overstate what that has meant to our family. But what has genuinely set them apart is that they don't just show up and leave. Veronica Tiongco and Nicole De La Pena, the two supervisors who look after my mum, text and call me the moment anything seems off — not a form letter, but a real, thoughtful note about how she's actually doing. Veronica spotted a health problem brewing early one morning and told me straight away, offered to collect medication or run a sample to the doctor herself, and looped in her colleague so nothing fell through a gap. Mum was seen by a doctor that same afternoon. The next morning, unprompted, Veronica checked in again to confirm she'd taken her medicine and offered to swing back by if needed. Another morning they noticed her pills were running low. Before I could even say anything, they'd already told me they were building a medication check into their routine so it wouldn't happen again. That's not a company following a checklist. That's people who actually care. Veronica, Nicole and Susie treat my mother with real warmth and dignity, and she adores them. Thank you all — you've taken an enormous weight off my shoulders.

I absulutly love the the way CK takes care of their clients and their emplyees. CK's clear communications with clients and employees, safety guidlines, availability, clients' individualized care plan and employee trainings are what has made them exceptional & best in care giving.   I was told I was going to receive my deposit back in 4 to 6 weeks. This was on April 8th and it is now June 24th. I've called them repeatedly and they keep telling me that it's being reviewed. This is thousands of dollars that needs to go to care for my father. Do not trust this company with your loved one or with your money.

  We contracted Comfort Keepers for help with my father, and they required a nearly $4,000 deposit. After we had been using them for about a month, we had to put my father into an assisted living facility, and we discovered that they had double charged him for $2,200. They told us that they would cut us a check for the deposit and the double charge, but two weeks later, we had not received a check, so I called to find out why, and they told me that the fine print on their contract states that they do not have to return deposits for 45 days. In regard to the double charge, they told me that the owner had to approve the repayment, and that it was at the top of their list, but after two more weeks, they still have not cut him a check. Long story short, they have held onto $6,000 of my father’s money for over a month, and to this date, we still have not been repaid. It seems like they are using my father’s money to cover their payroll. Pretty shady practice, especially considering that many of their clients probably are not well enough to keep a close eye on their finances.
