Found out about this place it’s right down the street from my house in North Park! I can just walk right over to it and let me tell you this place does not disappoint!
Was going to Boulevard fitness for a while, but then I started to notice that every time I would show up to the gym there would be no machines available really overcrowded so I decided to go 1:1 private training and this is the next best thing especially if you are a resident in the Northpark area or even Hillcrest!
I love how it’s also a 24 hour gym 🙏🏼 He offers group, trainings and memberships. He even has a sauna cold plunge and compression therapy.. Very methodical, personal trainer, super personable my workouts I always leave a little sweaty and sore, which is a great thing! Definitely recommend Coach B’s training facility in North Park San Diego! 💃🏽

Coach Brandon with his extensive knowledge helped me rehab after an ACL surgery. Not only does he design workout for you, you'll also spend time laughing and enjoying his company. Would recommend him over and over again.

Things to love about Coach Bs:
1. His location if you live in North Park
2. His welcoming, easy-going personality and sense of humor
3. His ability to program individually for your needs. Though I was never an especially gifted athlete, I've always enjoyed physical activity, ranging from basketball back in my HS days, adult rec league flag football, my crazy cross-fitting days (SO to a great gym, Mighty CrossFit off Hancock) to more mellowed out days of hiking, tennis and yes, pickleball. The excitement that Brandon brings is in his programming. What I have enjoyed is his technique in building my overall functional strength (my fav thing about CrossFit) but also personalizing workouts to help with my hobbies, even if I'm not going out for a scholarship or veteran contract. We were on a great path to improving speed and agility used on the tennis courts until I broke my foot (Lisfranc) and had surgery (dirt bike related). I've dealt with my share of injuries but never on a weight-bearing extremity so it was great to have the guidance of Coach B. This shifted what workouts looked like everyday showing his ability to adapt to clients' needs. For the past 2 months we've focused on bringing my range of motion back and rebuilding strength not just in my foot but right leg. He has challenged my comfort level but never beyond what I was personally wanted to do and what felt safe (listen to your body!). Even on this new path, workouts never feel like homework or redundant, he's able to utilize hurdles, ladders, medicine balls, etc to keep things fresh and my foot guessing. I'd recommend his gym to anyone if you're an oly lifter looking for a home or a recovering accident prone 'athlete' like me! I guess you can call him the Leonardo DiCaprio of gyms cuz he's got range.

I live in North Park, so I was looking for a gym close to me. I stumbled upon Coach B Performance. Brandon is knowledgeable and helpful with catering to your needs/goals. Gyms can be a bit intimidating, especially getting into it as a newbie. The environment is very welcoming and inclusive; definitely family friendly. I’ve worked out with people with different athletic backgrounds and ages, to beginners like myself. More importantly, it feels really good when someone is there to celebrate your achievements with you. It’s been about 7 months and it’s the daily progress that counts. Coach B is awesome!!!
