ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. ZERO PROFESSIONALISM. My experience with the owner of this business was extremely disappointing. What should have been a simple customer-service issue turned into the owner deciding to personally label me as “aggressive,” accuse me of “cursing,” and tell me I was no longer welcome in her stores. I asked to speak with someone else because I felt I was being treated rudely and dismissively. Apparently, asking for another person to address a concern is enough for this owner to characterize a customer as aggressive. What really says everything about the professionalism of the management is that the owner herself put these accusations in writing instead of taking the opportunity to actually listen to the customer and resolve the situation. A refund does not excuse poor treatment. Money can be refunded. Respect and trust cannot. If you are a business owner, you don’t get to disrespect a customer, characterize them however you want after the fact, and then hide behind “my staff said…” as though that makes the accusations automatically true. This wasn’t customer service. This was poor leadership. I will gladly take my business somewhere I can ask a question without being treated like a threat. If the owner treats customers this way when they raise a concern, I would think twice before giving this business my money. There are other optical locations in the area. Choose one where management understands that professionalism goes both ways.

A few years ago I got the best frames I've ever purchased at this location. The lady working the front desk was friendly and helpful, the eye doctor was professional and my new prescription made a difference. After a very negative experience at another location, I returned to the Pocket store this year for frames. My initial choice didn't fit, so I was allowed one free "mulligan"...and I eventually selected some very nice lightweight rubberized frames with ultra high index lenses....these new ones are now the new best glasses I've ever owned. So yeah, 2 visits to this location and 2 big W's on the glasses along with a plain but very serviceable set of computer glasses. I would recommend this location over other chains based on my experience over the last 3 years. Bonus points: This location ALWAYS gives you a hardcase for the glasses, and not one with a cheap ugly company advert logo on it.

The front desk was not helpful and I doubt the techs were properly trained. The machine that puffs the air in your eye? The tech jammed it straight into my eye. Furthermore? I had pink eye symptoms after my appointment which ended up spreading to my infant son. I called them to say that I got pink eye from them (and how it was probably from getting that machine shoved in my eye) and their response was extremely stand-offish and they clearly are denying the blame. You’d be better off taking your business elsewhere where they take client health concerns seriously and know what they’re doing

My sister disabled elderly progressive eye disease needed this exam and glasses as soon as possible. Only went here because told same day. Charges on credit card. Told two weeks had to send out told at site charges went thru on card. Yet was then re charged multiple times. When glasses came back couldn't get them said bill not pd. Had proof with credit card charged more than once. Not only no glasses but never given the exam results. Filed complaint cancelled charges and has to start all over again. I find it strange a 5 rating but no other reviews except from years ago. Same one person .
