- JMJ MJun 1, 20261.0I had a confirmed eye exam appointment scheduled today at this Target Optical location. About two hours before the appointment, I received an email stating my appointment had been cancelled because the office was “unable to reach me.” I am a returning patient who has consistently attended appointments and paid out of pocket without issue. I did not receive any voicemail or warning that my confirmed appointment would be released. I had already requested time off work specifically for this appointment, so cancelling it last minute was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. If appointments require additional confirmation beyond the original confirmation, that policy should be clearly communicated beforehand instead of cancelling patients at the last minute. Very disappointed with how this was handled.
