- SBSimona BandongSep 17, 20265.0YogaSix is a laid-back, welcoming studio with a calm atmosphere. Highly recommend. The classes are well explained and thoughtfully paced. This is not about the front row full of people doing wild inversions, arm balances, or sliding into the splits. The flow feels accessible while still being a great workout. My favorite classes are Anyssa’s Hot Pilates and her Restore. I really appreciate how clean the studio is. There are plenty of spray bottles and cleaning solutions available. The students do a good job drenching the weights and blocks after class. The teachers make sure the floor is thoroughly cleaned between classes, and I’ve seen the front desk clerks washing and recovering the bolster covers. There is a nice amount of space between students. Classes don’t feel overly packed and people respect the generous spacing guidelines. There’s a consistent crowd and a genuine sense of community. The teachers are caring and welcoming, and the other students are considerate. It has that nice feeling of a studio where people recognize each other and enjoy being there. After the really heated classes, they offer cool hand towels. Such a treat! YogaSix Palo Alto has a relaxed, clean, friendly atmosphere with great instruction and a calm sense of community.
