I am honestly so happy I decided to try the intro class and sign up for monthly classes here at this studio. Julia is a phenomenal teacher, and I love the range of classes and small group setting. This type of exercise works very well with the yoga and regular gym workouts I am already doing, and I can feel my strength and flexibility increasing rapidly. I received a targeted Facebook ad inviting me to try out the reformer and was initially hesitant about going after reading many reviews and not knowing the pricing, as I already budget for my gym membership and training and didn’t think I could fit it in with my busy work schedule, and the distance is further than i expected (I am coming from East Lancaster.) However, after one class I was hooked, and can really see and feel the benefit of this specialized equipment and teaching practices. In addition to the reformer I’ve gotten to try the springboard and can’t wait to try the Exo chair again. There is also mat work and aids like the ball, reformer box and weights. I also see a foam roller and Magic Circle at each station, but haven’t gotten to use those yet. There are different memberships available, and I chose the 4 classes monthly option, but I’m considering moving up to 8 classes a month or the unlimited option. I would love if there were more classes available on the weekends and after 6 PM on weekdays, but I have been able to book classes I’m interested in each month and haven’t had a repeat workout as the flow is changed each class. Each session is as challenging as you can make it for yourself by following instructor suggestions and focusing on moving slowly with correct form. The instructors are quick to adjust to prevent injury and form good habits. I’ve only tried level 1 and 1.5 classes so far, but come out tired and sore and accomplished. Besides Reformer Flow, I enjoy Cardio Sculpt with Vee and had an amazingly effective Control class with Julia today. I also really enjoyed the Center and Balance class I took with Shannon. The studio itself is intimate and very clean as each student wipes down their equipment at the end of the class. There is a cold water refill station available and a restroom, and an area to put belongings. Classes start promptly on time and you should aim to arrive 10 minutes before the start of your class. I haven’t had an issue with the cancellation policy as I make sure to use my calendar and cancel before the 12 hour mark if needed. There are some classes that I’ve waitlisted and not been able to attend as they remained full, but if you’re close enough to the studio it’s worth it to show up incase of a no-show. All in all, I’m extremely thrilled with this club and have managed to incorporate it with my routine seamlessly. I can’t wait to return!
