Lovely studio, passionate staff, fun ladies, HARD Class! This workout is bang for your buck, targeting muscles in your core, abs, legs, and glutes. I walk out of there feeling more strength, flexibility, toning and better posture. All the veterans swear it’s the only workout you need and they have beautiful bods!

I started taking classes at Studio Barre Newbury Park a little less than three years ago and I have done now close to 300 classes! I just cant stop praising this amazing workout studio, the fantastic instructors, and the incredible health benefits I have experienced.
The studio is super clean and has nice inviting design that makes you feel welcome and refreshed every time. The boutique has great exercise clothes and cool gifts when you need something special for yourself or a friend. Everyone greets you with a big smile and knows your name. All the instructors are wonderful and give their own personal touch to the workout that inspires you to try even harder. After my first barre session my legs were shaking and I was wondering if I could still drive home! I was immediately hooked, and have kept going ever since 2-5 times a week.
In addition to the obvious changes in toning the body, especially areas that don't get worked out in many other types of exercise (such as the muffin top) the overall health benefits have been just incredible. I have a history of back problems with herniated disc and sacroiliac joint strain. I have always been active and done many different kinds of exercise (yoga, mat pilates, various gym classes etc.) while trying to rehabilitate from these injuries and although they all have their great benefits, I often had to be cautious to protect my body and make sure I don’t reinjure myself. With the barre classes I have always felt safe, and my back and hip area is now stronger than ever and I rarely remember that I even had such problems. This has been a huge help also in so many other areas, such as riding horses. I don't anymore have to be protective of my back on my dressage lessons as I used to. The barre classes have strengthened my core and posture and given a whole new control for different body parts that really helps in dressage.
Last but not the least, the barre classes were a major help this when I had to start breast cancer treatments . Even going through chemo, I was able to go regularly to my classes as the ladies at the studio kindly offered to prepare personally cleaned props for me so that I could safely attend the classes even at times when my immune system was down. The classes were an incredible help to keep my condition up, fight the difficult fluid retention from chemo, and keep my mood and stamina upbeat. To support breast cancer patients and survivors, Studio Barre Newbury Park gives the entire month of October free classes to anyone who has ever fought with breast cancer. Can’t beat that! I am so thrilled to be part of the Studio Barre tribe and I urge you to try too as long as you are not afraid to get addicted to it!

This place is just awesome. A full body workout that leaves you feeling exhausted but super strong and energized at the same time. The staff is friendly, the studio clean, the clients dedicated, and the instructors bada$, You will definitely want to come back for more!
