  One star is a gift. Went to Janice York for 8 months for court ordered family counseling. By far the worst therapist or curriculum I’ve ever experienced. She doesn’t follow through with her practices and allows repeated bad behavior from the accuser . Her six week program doubles in length as she can’t keep from getting distracted. Her own personal life and experiences corrupt any help she is supposed to be giving. She should not be recommend by the court or any one else. Terrible process or program!!! Spent over $1300 with her when it was supposed to be half that. Horrible Therapist should resign!!!

  Jan counseled my team of young adult leaders on the warning signs and dangers of anxiety and suicide. She was kind, genuine, and knowledgeable. She answered each question with care, and provided adequate resources for my leaders to use. Based on my experience, I would trust Jan to counsel any of my loved ones.

  I own a business with 150 employees - most of whom are between the ages of 18-24. Jan counseled my leadership team in suicide prevention and the warning signs of suicide. She taught my leaders what to look for and what to do when warning signs appear. She was professional and compassionate, showing empathy for my leaders and the at risk teens that they lead. She was also very competent in the area, and gave all of us great confidence that we had the tools to handle these tough situations. We are very grateful for the time and care that she took in working with us.
