This is a really great studio! It just opened last summer (2025) and has a ton of parking. The instructors and lead instructor are very skilled, and the owner is very good and very involved. I started 10/1/2025, and according to my PB app, I've attended 178 classes in just shy of 1 yr. I'm in the best shape I've been in since college -- I won't say I'm in quite as good shape as I was then, but that was a LONG time ago, plus I'm still improving. So I'm very satisfied.
Some people worry these classes are too easy, and others that they're too hard. Honestly, both are valid. I'd say if you're new to this type of workout, you should let the instructor know and try to get a spot where you can see her easily, and don't pressure yourself to do too much too fast. And if you're already experienced with barre/dance/yoga/pilates, the ceiling is very high, since you can always go deeper, higher on your toes, add reps/weight/jumps, and ofc, keep improving your form. There are also people here who are clearly very athletic, but are simply new to this style of workout. IMO, the trick is to avoid injury, and focus on yourself without worrying too much about what people around you are doing (except when the class or moves are new and it's super helpful to look around and see what others are doing).
The first class here is free, though you have to arrive a bit earlier and do the usual paperwork. I personally don't find a single class to be that useful in determining whether a studio/workout style is a good fit, so my suggestion would be to take advantage of the free class, then buy a pack of 5 or 10 classes. After that, if you like it, you'll be in a better position to decide whether buying class packs or a membership works for you. And if you don't, it's one off the short list. FWIW, I'm on an unlimited annual membership which works well for me since PB is my main form of exercise. I bought the annual membership to motivate myself to go as often as I could fit it into my schedule, instead of letting the cost of a class be a reason not to go when I'm busy or lazy. Based on 178 classes over 52 weeks, I've been going just north of 3.4 times a week, which is honestly better than I expected when I signed up!
I don't think there's any workout (or other) offering that works for everyone. That said, I've personally been consistently pleased with this studio, and I have no hesitation in recommending any able-bodied adult to come try it out! There is a good range in age and fitness among participants -- most members are women, but I have seen men and they're certainly welcome.
