The staff at this optical store were very warm and professional, and they helped me fix my nose pads for free.

Amazing experience. I would give 7/5 if I could. I came in with an issue of surgical loupes nose pad screws being stripped. The receptionist sat me immediately with a skilled optician that was able to fix my urgent issue. I am extremely grateful and won’t hesitate to come back for any needs regarding glasses. They have a wide variety frames and a great team with an upbeat attitude. Thank you so much

The staff is probably highly incompetent. Denied to fix a broken nylon string on my specs saying frame is broken when it was clearly not. Another optometrist shop in MTV downtown fixed the same in 5 mins

I had a great experience at LensCrafters! The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. They took the time to look up my insurance, explained all of my coverage and options clearly and concisely, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. A special shoutout to Elvia for going above and beyond, and thank you to the entire team for the excellent customer service. I highly recommend this LensCrafters location!

I am very disappointed with the consultation experience. Dr. Emmanuel has usually been a nice and patient doctor, however today his composure was extremely rude and unprofessional. During the eye exam, while presenting to me two different prescriptions, I could not see the difference and expressed so to the Doctor. I also communicated to him some concerns about my vision, hoping to receive some advice. However, instead of addressing my concerns, he only kept switching back and forth between the two lenses in the exam. He then grew frustrated, snapping at me that he “had already shown you the two lenses five times.” I felt pressured to end the exam, as if my questions were wasting his time. Then he commented, “You seem a bit off, you seem different from the last time I saw you.” His tone felt patronizing and accusatory, as if I were out of my mind for bringing up concerns about my vision! After the exam, I realized the prescription difference was 0.25, no wonder I could not see the difference! The eye exam lasted no more than 5 minutes, and in that amount of time Doctor Emmanuel was able to lose his patience with his client. I do not know what is happening with him, but I do not want to be treated by him ever again. Everybody in that office seemed quite impatient. It is sad because it used to be a good place to take care of your eye health, but not anymore.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
