By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a pharmacy. Sad this is the only pharmacy rn in Mammoth. I’ve been taking same medication for 5+ years. Well, can’t call Vons anymore, they don’t answer phone. I go in and fill, they say come Back in 3 days ( which is fine, I get that) but A FULL WEEK LATER, I go back, it’s : “we can’t order that medication, backlogged” A phone call would have been nice! Now I’m stedsing about getting meds as I’m a day out. Worst feeling ever! I now have to drive to Gardnerville to pick up. And the service isn’t there anymore, they just don’t care

I cannot leave a lower rating, but I had a frustrating experience here last week. I needed a refill for my Bisoprolol. With Kaiser, this medication is normally at no cost to me, but since I had left my prescription at home, I had Kaiser call it into the only pharmacy in town. Unfortunately, I never received a call that it was ready. After leaving a message and not hearing back, I stopped by about three hours later (around 5:00 p.m.) and was told they had received the prescription but needed another 30 minutes. I said I would return before closing at 8:00 p.m. When I came back about five minutes before 8:00, they were already closing up. Thankfully, an employee reopened the divider to help me, but by that point the register had already been shut down, so I had to pay by credit card. The total came to $191 for the prescription, which was surprising since I typically pay nothing through Kaiser. After checking prices, it appears the full retail cost for 100 tablets is around $60, and many pharmacies offer it for about $20–$25.

Their phone automated system only works some of the time, and when it does work no one answers and you can’t leave a message. There needs to be another way to fill meds if they don’t have enough people to answer the phones

This is the only pharmacy in town. The pharmacy phones at this location have not been working properly for over a year. Calls do not ring through, and it’s impossible to reach a staff member by phone. For a pharmacy handling time-sensitive prescriptions, this is unacceptable. Corporate has been notified, but the issue remains unresolved. The pharmacist is great! They’ll make every attempt to help. But the cashiers in the pharmacy try to avoid helping.
