The WORST customer service and optometrist experience I have ever had. I would recommend everyone stay FAR FAR away from this store unless you have endless free time, love wasting money and migraines. The doctor gave me the wrong prescription after I had her and the team verify my prescription was the same as my previous prescription multiple times. Then when my new $600 dollar glass gave me a migraine they gaslight me when I came back in store saying oh it’s the way they were cut. But we will fix it. Then I come back in again now the 3rd time and the glasses are still wrong. I finally get the girl to check the prescription AGAIN for the third time and she confirms I was correct and that this prescription is a .25 off. She says oh I will PERSONALLY see to it that this is rectified and we will have the new lenses in a couple days well another week has passed with absolutely no contact. They couldn’t help me they seem confused disorganized and I wasted my time and money

I have been getting my glasses from the LensCrafters at 8471 Beverly Blvd in West Hollywood for over 25 years because it is close to my work. Usually the service is really good but today was not! Went in to get my lenses and frames replaced and was told others were ahead of me and I was to wait! No problem! Another customer came in and was after me! A male employe called me up to his desk and also the woman behind me! When we sat down he began to help her instead of me even though it was my turn. She was picking up new glasses so I thought no big deal. The employee could not find her glasses and kept going from the computer to the counter where the finished glasses are kept, this went in for 10 minutes with out saying anything to me! I would have expected the employee to tell the client she would need to wait since he could not find her glasses, the next available person would help her and he would deal with me! That did not happen and he kept looking for her glasses! I finally got upset and decided I was not going to wait , specially since it was my lunch hour! This has happened before and I kept going back! Told the employee I was leaving and would need to come back. No apologies or I will help you now! Instead I got a snarky “have a good day” I really wanted to tell him FU! I will get my glass replacements from LensCrafters since I paid for the warranty but I’m never going back! Way too many really good places to choose from and LensCrafters is not inexpensive as well!

Yesterday I went to pick and fit my new pair of glasses.Thank you, Oscar Ramirez and the young latin lady with glasses with welcoming smile (i dont know her name) for providing exceptional customer service. Your helpfulness, clear communication, and quick attention to my visit made a huge difference this time around. Thank you for your proactivity, I felt heard and most importantly safe of being taking care of for professionals like you both. My respect and appreciation for you both!

The screw came loose on my eyeglass I purchased about 5-months ago. While I was there, I also inquired about fixing the scratches I obtained on the lenses from frequent drops. I was delighted when the sales representative informed me that my glasses were still under warranty and for a small fee of $50 they would send my prescription in and issue me a brand new pair in a week. This was a wonderful surprise considering I initially paid over $400+ for them which didn’t include my prescription, transition & blue light blocking lenses. This warranty was truly a blessing! 🤓💕 Thank you LensCrafters & to SONIA; the wonderful lady that assisted me.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
