There’s never been a business that really, truly lives up to its name. The Perfect Workout, however, does exactly that… from the program itself to the atmosphere… the timeliness… fellow patrons…. I could go on and on. But not without first mentioning the best, most perfect part of it- the Trainers! Especially my personal trainer, Ray. He’s professional, personable, effective and efficient. He also manages the place and trains the other trainers. Ray is the GOAT! I love The Perfect Workout!

I should start by saying this review is long overdue. For me to write one, it typically requires something to be near perfection, which is ironic since my review is for The Perfect Workout. And let me say that it is true to its name! I’m an older female who hasn’t stayed committed to any workout routine, aside from my daily step goal, for over 30-plus years. I am thrilled to say that I just finished my 59th (2 sessions per week) of the slow-motion training at The Perfect Workout’s Long Beach location. I know this specifically because I receive a text after each session, which is great. The workout itself is amazing, with benefits in just 20 minutes equal to those of a much longer session. My progress has been incredible, and it’s also making my doctors very happy, which is an added plus. Don’t get me wrong - it feels tough at the time but is completely worth it. The concept itself is incredible, yet when you add in the amazing trainers, it’s perfect! (Yes, I said it again). In all seriousness, my trainer Jocelynn is beyond wonderful, motivating, caring, just to name a few. She inspires me and really knows everything about me and my personal needs, which I know she does for every client. The manager/trainer, Ray, is fantastic as well and always makes you feel at home. I can also tell that his regular clients love him. All the trainers must meet the tough requirements, so I don’t think you could go wrong (but, yes, I am biased for my Long Beach crew, including Emma). I can honestly say that everyone should at least take advantage of the free consultation to see it for themselves.

Frequently Asked Questions About The Perfect Workout
This sounds too good to be true – Great results in 20 minutes, twice a week?
We understand the skepticism surrounding a 20-minute exercise routine. It goes against the grain of traditional beliefs.
The truth is, if you’re doing more exercise than needed, your workout may not be intense enough. With many traditional methods, a lot of time spent during your workout is “rest time.” More rest during a workout can reduce muscle growth and cardiovascular impact.
So you can either work hard during exercise, or you can work out for a long time – but you can’t do both. Intensity is key if you want to effectively boost your metabolism, improve VO2 max, and not only build lean muscle but support your skeletal health.
Our approach is not only unique, it’s grounded in research.
We train all major muscle groups through 5-8 exercises with minimal rest between sets. Our method and technology provide the perfect resistance for every exercise, eliminating virtually any risk of injury. So you’ll spend your sessions burning more fat and building more strength than traditional weight training.
But don’t take our word for it! Come in for your own free Introductory Session. Experience the methodology first-hand, without any obligation.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is based on your preferences, goals, and needs.
And we have a fit for every budget.
Finding your perfect membership starts with a free Introductory Session. Experience a custom-tailored workout and discover training options that support your lifestyle.
Choose a package that reflects your priorities, such as your goal, budget, and how often you’d like to train. Training options are flexible and range from $285 to $695 monthly, with no long-term contracts.
Our memberships adapt to life’s changes, supporting you at every stage.
Plus, our method is so effective, that if you aren’t stronger after 90 days of consistently training with us, we’ll refund every penny.
I have an injury or limitation - is this still for me?
This is especially for you.
Our approach is low-impact and safety-based, making it a great option for those who have injuries or limitations to accommodate.
We work with many members who require modification to their routines. Our team of Personal Trainers are qualified to support your unique health history.
Want to speak with a certified trainer about your specific injuries or limitations? We recommend reserving a spot with a free introductory session and calling us at (888) 488-3177. We’ll help establish important health history details before you even walk into your session.
I don’t have a lot of experience with exercise. Is this the right workout for me?
Absolutely! You don’t need any prior exercise experience to see results with our method.
Slow-motion strength training is incredibly effective and easy to adapt, making it perfect for beginners. Our certified trainers will guide you every step of the way, tailoring the workouts to your pace. Whether you’re new to exercise or a seasoned fitness enthusiast, The Perfect Workout is designed for all experience levels.
When will I see results?
Many of our members notice positive changes within the first 6 weeks, and some even feel the benefits almost immediately.
Everyone’s body and goals are unique, so results can vary. Your progress will depend on how your body responds to the workouts, your nutrition, and how well you push yourself. Remember, everyone’s journey is different, and we’re here to support you every step of the way! Consistency is key, so keep going, and you’ll see the progress you’re looking for.
Will I get too big and bulky?
This is a common concern, but rest assured, the answer is no.
Slow-motion strength training helps you build lean muscle mass, which will tone your body and boost your metabolism to burn more fat. Since muscle is denser than fat, adding muscle and losing fat will actually make you leaner and firmer. So, you can enjoy the benefits without worrying about getting too bulky!
Are your trainers certified?
Absolutely! Our trainers go through a rigorous education process that sets us apart.
Unlike many other certifications, ours includes extensive hands-on training with real people. We ensure our trainers are highly skilled through numerous written and practical exams. Plus, every trainer is AED/CPR certified and continually updates their knowledge with ongoing education. You can trust you’re in good hands with our team at The Perfect Workout!
