We moved to the area a couple of months ago and were overwhelmed by all the workout options. I personally love fitness classes, but I also wanted a place where I could use a full gym on my own on the days I’m not taking classes.
After taking a tour, I knew this was the right place for me. They have everything I was looking for: a spacious and very clean gym, a great variety of machines, classes, a steam room, sauna, and a friendly, welcoming staff.
I have especially enjoyed Marita’s classes. I haven’t had an instructor this dedicated and passionate in a long time. Her energy, knowledge, and motivation have made a huge difference and have helped me stay consistent.
I love combining the classes with my own workouts and ending my visits with some time in the steam room. Every time I come here, it feels like more than just a gym—i. I feel very lucky to have found this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, motivating, and welcoming fitness environment.

Nicole Canseco does an amazing job managing Belmont Athletic Club. You can tell she genuinely cares about the members and takes a lot of pride in the club. She’s always friendly, approachable, and willing to help with anything.
The club is clean, well run, and has a great atmosphere, and a lot of that comes down to Nicole’s leadership. It’s obvious she works hard to make sure everyone has a positive experience, whether you’re there every day or just getting started.
Great management makes a huge difference, and Nicole is a big reason Belmont Athletic Club is such a great place to work out. Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming to Belmont Shore consistently for a while now, and it’s easily one of my favorite gyms. The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful, which makes every visit a positive experience.
The members are just as great—everyone is respectful, and there’s a strong sense of community without feeling intimidating. It really captures the laid-back, friendly Long Beach vibe.
The gym itself has just about everything you need, whether you’re into strength training, cardio, or just trying to stay active. The equipment is well-maintained, and I’ve rarely had trouble getting the workout I wanted.
If you’re looking for a gym with a great atmosphere, kind people, and all the essentials, I highly recommend Belmont Shore.
