  Apparently all his customers (except for Fina Thom) did not deserve a heads up that he was retiring. I will say that his dental work was very good, his bedside manor was the worst of anybody I working in the medical or dental care field I have ever seen. If your mouth started to close a little while he was working, instead of just saying "Open", he would jam an instrument into your gum. If your head was not in the perfect position he would jerk it where he wanted. I have never had any dentist come close to doing the crap he pulled. I just assumed he was bitter and was taking it out on his patients. Hopefully he will find some peace in retirement. Thanks for the heads up, not!!!!

  The best dentist I've been going to for over 35 years is finally retiring and closing the doors at the end of March 2026. Happy retirement Dr. Van Horne and Andrea! We'll miss you!

  Dr. Van Horne is a great dentist. He is honest to his Patients and provides excellent services. I had few fillings done and my family a lot more work. Over all everyone is happy with the work and pain free. The staff is amazing Andrea is the best! If you are looking for a good dentist and one that doesn't just want your money I highly recommend you see Dr. Van Horne. Plus the office is nice and clean too :)

  Unfortunately, though he and his staff are nice and the prices reasonable, I have had most of the work his office did, re-done or fixed at a Sorrento Valley Dentist which cost me a lot of money. Dentist tools were dropped on me during a procedure at Dr. Van Horne's office. I can not recommend them for any work out of good conscience.
