At YogaSix, we're all about a sensory yoga experience accessible to all. Each of the yoga classes we offer at YogaSix has a specific focus and produces specific body benefits. Whether you’re looking for strength, agility, or flexibility and balance, we have the yoga fit classes for you. We're committed to keeping your studio a safe environment during these sensitive times. All studio practice areas are thoroughly sanitized before and after class.
I’ve been consistently practicing at Y6 La Habra since Dec 2024, and I can honestly say that it’s one of my favorite places!
First, I have tried every class, and they are all heated, distinct, and challenging in their own way! Whether you take Power, Sculpt, Slow Flow or the others, you’re welcomed to modify your practice and taught to safely try new poses and movements. Breath-work is essential to yoga which most instructors cue clearly and the music & lighting choices have always been on point.
Second, each instructor is incredibly encouraging of members - whether you’ve just started or you’ve been practicing from the very beginning. Megan and Aly are my personal favorites; they not only you push you in their classes (the sweat is absolutely real after each one!!), but they take the time to help you feel more confident with your practice outside of class by answering your questions and offering suggestions about certain poses. I’ve taken their classes consistently, and thanks to them I’ve noticed significant improvements in my mobility, strength, and endurance!
Lastly, the studio’s sense of community is incomparable! Aly and the wellness advisors truly take the time to get to know their members and even celebrate member milestones. They integrate fun challenges throughout the year and host themed classes and workshops. It can be hard to find a safe, no-judgment space to move your body, but members at this studio are also just as kind to one another and supportive!
Overall, I’m grateful for Y6 La Habra and I highly recommend giving this studio a shot if you haven’t already!

Y6 @ La Habra offers a wide variety of classes throughout the day, with sessions starting as early as 5:30 a.m and running as late as 8:30 p.m. The instructors are knowledgeable and encouraging, They consistently offer modifications for poses making each class accessible for experience level and physical ability. The front desk staff is always welcoming and knowledgeable with helping to find the right class or membership option to suit your budget. The studio is well lit and has a very fresh and airy feel. This location is very inclusive and supportive of all its members.

If it's your first experience, you may really like it! Moving your body and exercising is so such more important than the little things.
I had a much better experience from the city I was before so this was a let down for me. I took their classes in a 3/$36 trial format and could not wait for it to be over from the first class. I have done hot yoga before but this stunk in a figurative and literal sense.
There is ~4 inches of space between mats. You are very close to your neighbor, and cannot move freely. Even a goal post/cactus pose while laying down isn't possible :( More unfortunate, you will be very close to detect if someone passes wind or has body odors. No air movement means it will linger the whole class. Heat means it will amplify it.
These are normal bodily functions to be expected, but my issue lies in that there is no attempts by staff to overcome this which is a necessary forethought bc the tight space, lack of ventilation, and high heat really heightens this and make breathing exercises (a key part of yoga) a total joke. I left feeling extremely nauseated after all classes just from that.
I love detox and meeting people, but stagnant, smelly air and inadvertently being touched and sharing sweat with people totally ruins the immersion and fun of hot yoga for me. Just, ew.
Additional notes:
- My last class the instructors toes kept tapping the top of my water bottle where the straw was. She made a comment that the room is tight, but it was extremely inconsiderate to me bc she kept doing it and I was in a physical position where I couldn't just grab it, and I also couldn't drink for the remainder of the class. I was so disgusted I wanted to throw away my hydroflask... seriously.
- To "clean", they just pass a little swiffer mop on the floors between classes which seems ineffective in proportion to the amount sweat left behind.
- From the day I signed up, I felt the general vibes were bad and icky, but wanted to give it a honest try.
- They will blowup your phone with calls at all hours of the day to ask questions about your experience and to sign you up for classes. That's fine that it's their marketing strategy, but oh boy it got annoying for me to get calls at work and before bed.
