I went in a couple months months ago in desperate need of a repair and the amazing person with star tattoos on their hand (I think it was Katy?) helped me and made sure the fit was perfect, free of charge! They also cleaned the lenses which helped me see how amazing the customer service at the Goleta Target Optical department was! If you are ever in need of a glasses adjustment, look for the person with the star tattoos! They will get you squared away😌

I went in to get my glasses adjusted due to one of the arms bending, I was helped by Simon and he had it fixed for free in less than 5 minutes. Absolutely recommend seeing them!

I made a big mistake trusting Simon Wu at Goleta Target Optical. I have been wearing high-index lense since the 90s-various frames and styles. They are more expensive, but for high rx, the thin lenses and low weight are worth it. Simon charged us more than any other eye doctor (including our Montecito eye dr) sonce the 90s and we received cheap, thick lenses that were all blurry. I couldnt see anything. Simon's response was. "Oh well" ! The correct response is the doctor at Target, Dr Tang, should recheck the rx because he wrote it. Simon didnt care, he is only interested in sales/commission and not helping patients see. He assured me thst Target Optical glasses ate made at a Luccoxira lab (not true) and would be thin and high quality. All lies..Obviously, I refused to accept the glasses and receiveda full refund. There is no recourse or customer service through Target Optical or the store manager. If you have progressive or high-index lenses, I dont recommend paying top dollar for inferior product. Good luck trusting Simon because I will never return or trust him again. Im going to file a complaint with ST of CA against this practice for charging for high index lenses and providing thick, cheap low quality garbage. Below is a photo of my current high index progressive glasses and the thick, non-high index lenses Simon tried to hustle me with. Absolute disgrace. So much for Luzzotica name or quality.
