  I made an appointment to meet with the periodontist. 30 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment (first of the day, by the way), I am called back, x-rayed, and meeting with Dr. Talmood (not the periodontist I thought I was meeting with). She then proceeds to tell me everything that is wrong with my teeth in detail. The way she talked, you would think that my teeth were about to fall out! I feel she uses fear tactics to get you to spend more. Recognizing that she had a point about two of my fillings being worn down, I scheduled a follow-up to have those replaced. At the follow-up, first appointment of the day again, they were running way behind. How is this even possible? I then got hit with an unexpected x-ray charge from the first visit because my insurance denied it (too many x-rays. They apparently did not check my coverage beforehand). This was upsetting because I thought I was scheduled to meet the periodontist for something that did not require an x-ray but here I am paying them for something I did not need! After the fillings are redone, Dr. Talmood walks me to the checkout desk and then tells them I need to be scheduled for a "deep clean." This is something she never mentioned before. My oral hygiene is VERY good so I know I did not need a deep clean. I glanced at her questioning what she said and she backed down. Dropped the deep clean recommendation and agreed to refer to the periodontist. Overall, I feel like this clinic just wants to shake you down for money, getting you to pay for extra things you do not need. Will not be back. There are more honest dentists out there.

  Exceptional service at this practice. Everybody is consistently kind and professional. The communication, scheduling, and billing has all been top notch from the front staff. Dr. Talmood is fantastic; prompt, kind, and confident. My hygienist Amanda is a real joy to the world and probably the only reason I have serviceable teeth - couldn't recommend her enough. I've recently moved over an hour away and I still come out to Fullerton for cleaning. Thank you to everyone here!

  As a new patient, I felt very welcome at Dr. Anna Talmood’s dental office. From reception, X-rays, dental cleaning, to oral hygiene instruction, everyone communicated clearly and warmly. It’s also a beautiful office and feels clean and comfortable!

  Everyone in this office is incredibly kind and welcoming! They are all willing to listen and help wherever they can. I've been terrified to go to the dentist in the past but the warm reception of Dr. Talmood and her staff have cured my fear entirely. I highly recommend if you are searching for a new dentist.
