    Dentist and office are ok, but their answering and appointment service that they offshore is a pain to communicate with and will call over and over and over if you don't make regular appointments.

    The providers in the Folsom office are great however, their billing is horrible. I’ve had nothing but problems. I’ve been billed for things I shouldn’t have been billed for, overcharged, and not reimbursed. I’m waiting 3/4 of a year for a reimbursement on ortho services that were paid in full but discontinued, and no one will call me back. I’ve had to make numerous attempts to get information on money owed to me for more than one issue, yet am receiving bills from them that are not accurate. I called to remedy the bills that I’m getting in error and was told that it would be taken care of and stopped, however, I keep getting bills and they keep upping the threat. I’ve called the Better Business Bureau and there are quite a few complaints about their billing, and if you look on Folsom chat, there are quite a few complaints there about billing as well. All questions are directed overseas, and you have to wait for a review from their billing department, yet never receive a return call in follow up. Providers get five stars, billing gets zero stars, and we are leaving their practice as soon as possible because of the billing. It makes us sad because we genuinely love our orthodontist and dentist, and the rest of the staff in office. Their offshore corporate billing is a terrible system.

    Took my two year old here and he loved playing with the toys and crafts. Can’t say the same for the exam, but the dental staff and dentist were amazing!

    Took my three youngest daughters here for their checkups and cleanings and they're amazing. The front desk ladies were super welcoming and sweet the second we walked in. The assistant who did the cleanings was the best. I sadly didn't catch her name but she talked to my girls the whole time to keep them comfortable. They all loved her. Dr. Tiffany Kwan was also so nice and very informative. She actually explained everything to them and made them want to brush more often which I'm so thankful for bc getting them to listen is usually a struggle lol Plus they got a goodie bag at the end with a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss and a little sticky hand toy. Definitely recommend!

    I want to express my disappointment with our recent experiences at Kid’s Care Dental. We have been patients here since my oldest child was young, and my youngest is now 16, so this relationship has lasted many years. Lately, I feel communication has become centered around billing and procedures rather than patient care. My child has had X-rays taken at multiple visits even though my insurance only covers them once a year, and I do not feel proper consent or communication was given beforehand. Today’s interaction regarding the oral surgery consultation also made me uncomfortable. I declined the earliest appointment because I genuinely could not make it work, yet I felt pressured after another staff member questioned why the appointment wasn’t being booked while I was standing there. What upset me the most was the dentist telling my child they could not check for cavities because “her mom” did not want them to look. That conversation should have been addressed directly with me, not in a way that placed blame on me in front of my child. After being loyal patients for so many years, I expected better communication, professionalism, and respect. I hope this feedback is taken seriously.
