Highly recommend Rancho Optometry! I’d been procrastinating getting an eye exam after moving and changing insurance because I didn’t take the time to look up a new place to go. Completely overlooked Target until I walked by in store one day and then saw the logo on an insurance mailer.. I could just go to target? That would be too easy… once inside it is a quiet, professional office space you don’t even realize you’re in a Target store. Dr. Young was great and I like they offer optimap so you don’t have to get your eyes dilated. The front office staff were very friendly and so helpful assisting me in picking out new frames. They were knowledgeable about my insurance coverage which made the process a breeze. Target’s frame selection is huge, which let’s be honest is one of the most important factors. They have a big variety of brands in store and even more online, all the popular ones and any color you could dream of. They also carry sunglasses to get your prescription in, same comment about the variety to choose from. Once ordered, they said my glasses should be in in just a week.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients).
