  I went for an eye appointment to get an updated prescription for my contacts. While I was waiting the receptionist told me that if I had VSP vision care, my appointment would be covered. While I was waiting, I enrolled in VSP. 2 months later I got a bill for the full amount of the appointment. When I questioned it, they said that because the word cateracts came up in my appointment, it could no longer be a routine visit and had to be billed as a medical visit. They will not bill it to VSP. My medical will not cover it. I was not diagnosed with cateracts or any other medical condition. I've never had an eye appointment where the doctor has not checked for cateracts and as a result said the word "cateracts." In addition, I was supposed to get a call a few weeks after the appointment to get fitted for the new contacts. It has been 2 months and still no call. When I called to office to asked about the charge, they said they would have someone call me about the contact appointment. That was 4 days ago and still nothing. The billing department sent me the form that I signed that says if you have an eye condition it is considered medical coverage. I don't have an eye condition. They need to read their charts. Too bad this is how they choose to do business. I should have checked other reviews before going to this office.

  I have been having to see eye doctors for over 50 years, and I have never been to a finer institution than this. The care and courtesy I have recieved have amazed me. I am pretty fussy at times however the make sure I am happy and due to such care I never the need to feel as such. I often feel they "cornered the market" on kind caring professionals. Every one of them! I feel the 1/2 hours drive is well worth it! Also the office manager can answer any question you have! All in all 100% satisfied!!

  I felt obligated to rate this place on their abilities and profession since previous reviews only seem to care about one negative experience with a receptionist. The doctors I've seen here since i was in elementary (20 years ago) have always been very skilled, caring, and professional. Highly recommend.

  Dear doctors and office manager, please do something about your fairly new highly rude receptionist, you know the one. She should not be in the position to greet and handle customers. I was given wrong information as if she knew what she was talking about, then when embarrassed for the wrong info most likely, ended up barking, (yes BARKING), at me. Wouldn’t answer my questions but rather yell over me. I then told her to stop raising her voice, she replied in a very rude manner, “I am a loud person.” Not so as she spoke softly afterwards to her colleagues.
