Do NOT come to this dental office.
The front desk staff had an extremely poor attitude. When I arrived at my scheduled appointment time, they were already giving me a hard time and were very unfriendly.
They entered my email address incorrectly and asked me to send over my insurance information. Then they claimed they never received it because of their own mistake. I offered to use AirDrop, but they refused.
On top of that, they asked for our Social Security numbers. Why would anyone feel comfortable giving such sensitive personal information to a pediatric dental office? It was honestly ridiculous.
We have two children and originally planned to bring both of them to this office. With so many pediatric dentists in Chino, I honestly don’t understand how a clinic can have such poor frontdesk.
As a pediatric dental office, the front desk staff had an unfriendly attitude the entire time and never once made us feel welcome. Their constant negative expressions made the experience very uncomfortable.
We were referred here by Fern Academy, which is one of the reasons we decided to give this office a try. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will definitely be sharing it with other Fern Academy parents and letting them know not to come here.
A pediatric dental office should make both children and parents feel comfortable and respected. Sadly, that was not our experience at all.
Very unprofessional experience. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

Frequently Asked Questions About Children's Dental Fun Zone- Chino
When should my child first visit the dentist?
We usually recommend scheduling your child's first pediatric dental visit as soon as their baby teeth begin to appear. This allows us to prevent any cavities from forming and talk with you about how to care for your child's teeth.
How often should my child visit the dentist?
We recommend that most children visit the dentist every six months. We may recommend coming in every three months if we discover your child is more prone to cavities.
When and how should I start cleaning my child's teeth?
You should start brushing your child's teeth as soon as they start to appear. Use a toothbrush and toothpaste your child likes and turn toothbrushing into a fun game! You can both take turns role-playing as a dentist, brushing the front, back, sides, and top of the teeth in a circular motion.
Why are baby teeth important?
The baby teeth serve as spacers for the adult teeth. Children who have severe damage to their baby teeth are more likely to damage their permanent teeth as well. Early loss of baby teeth may cause loss of space for permanent teeth, causing orthodontic problems later on.
What kind of toothbrush should kids use?
At Children's Dental FunZone, we recommend you get a soft-bristle brush with a small head for cleaning your infant's teeth. As your child grows, switch to a toothbrush with a slightly larger head.
When should children start flossing?
If there is little or no space between your child's teeth, this is usually a sign that you should be helping them floss. Flossing is less necessary if there is a lot of space between a child's teeth.
Are X-rays safe for children?
Yes! Today's X-ray technology uses only 25% of the radiation when compared to earlier generations. Therefore, dental X-rays are considered incredibly safe for your child. If you ever have any questions about your child's safety during their checkup, don't hesitate to ask.
What is the difference between a pediatric dentist and a family dentist?
Family dentists can provide excellent general care for patients of all ages, but our pediatric dentists specialize in assessing the needs of infants and children. We monitor kids to ensure healthy oral formation while also keeping them comfortable, safe, and at ease during their visit.
How much does orthodontic treatment cost?
The cost of orthodontic care can vary greatly, depending on the patient's needs. We can provide a personalized estimate during your child's appointment. Additionally, we can talk to you about financing and insurance assistance as needed.
Does insurance cover orthodontic treatment?
Some insurance policies will cover orthodontic care, at least partly, and some will not. It depends on your specific insurance, but we are always happy to talk with you about the best ways to maximize your reimbursement.
