Gym and amenities are ok, people are cool, but the sales is disappointing and predatory. They straight up lied to me about their recovery program cancellation policy. Mind you I didn’t even want the recovery program but they pushed me into getting it claiming that I could cancel at any time and not have to pay next month dues. When I went to cancel it a few days later, I was hit with the next month dues, and no matter how much I explained the situation they said that if there's no proof of an employee saying that I could cancel with no charge then they can't do anything about it. If you really have no choice but to sign up with UFC Brea, make sure to ask all the question and have them send an email with all the answers to your questions. Thoroughly review the email to make sure that everything is correct before agreeing to sign up. They're pushy about getting you to sign up and they'll use predatory sales tactics that forego asking whether or not you're even interested in signing up. They'll take you on a tour and all of sudden they're setting up your ufc account so beware and stand your ground. P.S. A few months later I freeze my account because I was reimbursed with a few months of free membership for a service I provided them. That account was supposed to unfreeze automatically after the free months were up (I have email proof), but it didn’t. I went in to ask about it and the guy that tried to help me reactivate my membership tried to get me to pay the new member activation fee. After pushing him about it, he eventually says that he’ll give me the account at the price that it should’ve been in the first place. He must’ve been upset he couldn’t get me to pay the $99 because after I asked a clarification question, he gets upset and says he’s not going to help me anymore. He tried to use shady sales techniques here as well, saying that even if I pay the $99 dollars, it's worth it because I had a few months of free membership. Uhhh, excuse me but UFC paid me with the membership for my services. Nothing about paying an extra activation fee because your employee failed to reactivate my old membership is "worth it". Turns out that was a blessing in disguise as all the reviews that mention trying to terminate their memberships seem like a nightmare. I took my business to another gym close by and I'm happier than ever. See you never UFC Brea and good riddance.
