My eye doctor was very patient and understanding of my needs and helped me make the best choices for my eyes and vision. No pushy sales people! All of the associates were helpful and not pushing for a decision or sale. I got exactly what I was looking for, needed and wanted. Adjustments were also super easy to have done and now fit amazingly.
- RPRomy PatelSep 14, 20263.0A tale of two experiences when comparing front of house vs back of house. Went on a Sat in Sep 2026. Spoke with a couple of peeps while the wife was getting her eye exam. One gentlemen was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. From basic observation you could tell some employees were rather green which I figured would be the case with these box chain stores. However LensCrafters is a Plus provider for insurance. Wifey loved the doc, he was a military vet. Said he was thorough. 5 stars for the eye exam portion. For glass purchase - that was a diff experience. A young woman was helping us after the eye exam. We picked a frame and lens and got the final price of 400 after insurance. We asked if she could save this info and take PD measurements (measurement for lens manufacturing) so we could think about it and then call back by Monday to put the order in over the phone with a credit card. The young lady said no problem. So she used the iPad and fitted the frame with some fancy rig put it on the wife’s face and took two pics to digitally measure the PD. Thought that was cool since I just remember the old boxes they put on your forehead and then turn some dial to measure it. We called on Monday to buy it, and they said we have to come in (it’s a 30 min drive) as they couldn’t find our info saved anywhere. She double checked her system and no luck. I shared I was very disappointed as I confirmed it would be saved before leaving on Sat. The lady on tnt phone said there was no manager available to talk to but she would talk to one once available to see if they could find any info from Saturday. Just on principle I don’t think I can go back. That’s 400$ out of their pocket.
