  I usually don't write reviews unless someone goes above and beyond or I've had a truly negative experience. Ryan Preston from this funeral home absolutely went above and beyond. I've been interested in the funeral business since 2018 and have reached out to places on and off just hoping to learn more. I wasn't even asking for a job, just insight, but no one ever took the time to respond. Ryan did. He spent nearly two hours of his day talking with me, while still managing his work, answering all of my questions about the industry, his role, and what it's really like to be in this field. He even shared ways I could get started at an entry-level position, which was incredibly helpful and thoughtful. It's rare to meet someone so knowledgeable and generous with their time, especially when they're not getting anything in return. Ryan is sincere, thoughtful, and genuinely cares about what he does. I only wish I had known about him when my own family needed services. Ryan Preston is truly exceptional, and I'm very grateful he took the time to speak with me.

  Due to a very unexpected passing in our family we were caught totally unprepared whereas financal budgiting left minimal room for emergency(s). Upon contact with Accord and Ryan Preston, everything we were concerned with was handled in a timely and reasonable manner. Accord stayed true to the service for which they provide , low cost Burial and Cremation. The price quoted, cremation along with any/all permits and/or certificates was in fact very reasonable and affordable. Ryan , throughout the process remained accessible and knowledgeable and went beyond his required obligations in providing a service for the public. If you or someone you know are looking for low-cost burial/crematorial services there is comfort in knowing Accord is there to represent the needs for your loved ones.   We had an excellent experience with Accord burial and cremation. My husband’s mother was on hospice a short time before she passed but made it clear that she wanted “simple”. My husband had the time to research and make burial arrangements prior to her death. Initially, he was appalled at the costs charged by most mortuaries and their associated burial fees. He was pleasantly surprised to find that Accord offered the same services, the same options, the same support as high cost mortuaries but with much more reasonable costs. Although everyone was aware of my husband’s mother’s impending death, everything was still highly emotionally charged when she passed. Ryan helped immensely by taking charge. Ryan made all arrangements for the family from the beginning to the end for with kindness, compassion and consideration. He took the time to explain all the details with great patience and empathy. Ryan is a total professional and helped during a stressful time. My husband felt very comfortable entrusting all the details of his mother’s burial with Ryan. Ryan made a huge impression on all who attended the graveside service with his professional presence and concern that everything went according to the wishes of the family. Accord is a great company and we highly recommend them.
