I dunno about this place... I just moved here from another state and got my senior cat set up with a nearby vet who wrote him a manual prescription he needs for a recurring condition. I brought the prescription here and they filled it same day, though I had to come back later in a rush as they were about to close when they called me. Normally I'd praise them for the speedy service, but they charged me over double what I was paying the previous pharmacy in another state. Literally. I asked why it was so expensive and the guy said it's because of labor? Why would pharmacists in Tucson charge so much for labor here? I legit don't understand. On top of that, the medication looks different from what I've been giving him for months. His previous stuff was white and slightly viscous, while this new stuff is kinda brownish and separates much more easily. I'm sure they were just filling the prescription as written, but I mean... how different can a certain liquid medication look here from where I moved from? Again, I don't understand, and I'm kinda nervous to give it to my cat. The pharmacist showed it to me but she had already shaken it on the spot so when I bought it, it looked about the same. After 24 hrs, it now looks very different. On top of that, they didn't provide mouth-feeding syringes or a bottle adaptor plug for the syringes. Luckily I already had syringes at home, but I guess I'll have to buy adaptors off amazon which will cost me even more money. Ridiculous since they should've provided one for free, especially since they're massively upcharging for the medication. I'm wondering if maybe the prescription the vet wrote is slightly different, but all the info on the old and new bottles is identical with the only difference being an added flavoring in the new stuff from Reed's. I dunno, man. Otherwise, the place is pretty nice with fast and professional service, hence 3 stars. Parking is kinda difficult though.

The medication I purchased from Reed's works great. However, my experience with the pharmacy consultation was extremely disappointing. Before purchasing, I specifically asked both the technician and pharmacist about the medication’s expiration timeline because I was buying a larger quantity than I likely needed. I was assured it would last about a year. After the purchase, I looked at the discard date. It was later than I was told. When I brought up the conflicting information, the pharmacist responded that I ‘should already know’ and suggested the discard date was simply a conservative guideline from their governing body. Rather than acknowledging the misinformation, I felt dismissed and blamed for the misunderstanding. I’m very happy with the medication, but the communication and customer service surrounding the consultation were poor and left me feeling frustrated and unheard. Please do better.
