  I had an amazing experience at Pineapple Eyecare! Dr. Stephanie Cooper and Brianna are the best! It was my first time (in a long time) getting an eye exam; Dr Copper made me feel very comfortable and made the exam process wonderful! I was able to pick out the perfect pair of glasses with the help of Brianna! Brianna took the time to help find exactly what I was looking for! I was able to try on so many different pairs as they have a wide selection with so many options! This team is the best!

  I came to this business after researching different optometrists in the Tucson area that could see me for a comprehensive exam for under $100. That's when I found Dr. Judy Velasco and I really admired her medical background in neurobiology and pediatric optometry. I have a lot of neurological and physical eye issues that began in childhood, so finding an optometrist that can understand that is super important for me so I don't have to advocate and overexplain the length of my medical history with doctors. Dr. Velasco was great. She seemed to understand how my eyes were, not judge me harshly for it, nor did she strain/push me too hard with the vision tests which I have difficulty doing. She was patient and even taught me new things about my own eyes that I didn't know, as well as give me a new and helpful eyeglass prescription. I had been previously been seeing a specialist but it was becoming too expensive, which is why I came here. My exam cost under $100 out of pocket, mind you that was also because I opted out of receiving eye imaging which would have added around $30. It was wonderful to have an IN OFFICE optometrist, as I have found doing a "virtual eye appointment" is unhelpful for me as it's usually rushed and done without much care. Pineapple eyecare seems to steer clear of virtual appointments and tries to do it all in house which is wonderful. The only downside is they seem a little pushy to try and get you to buy some frames right after your appointment (none of which here are below $150), but I can't blame them for simply doing their jobs.
