- TOTeresa OrthMay 4, 20261.0When you ask for a second opinion to check the accuracy of their derm path you get discharged from the practice without a clear plan on when the next follow up should be. They also inject lidocaine multiple times without cleaning the area first (both med assistant and doctors). A really disappointing and expensive experience. The surgeon and her MA also like to discuss Disney cruises while they are cutting and sewing on your face and completely act like you aren’t even present at the visit. Written instructions also do not match verbal instructions given at the same visit (written said to remove bandage and shower/clean at 48 hours, but verbally was told to keep bandage in place for the entire 72 hours when I returned). Also they injected lidocaine again without cleaning the area that sat under a bandage for 72 hours. Dr. Newlove and Dr. Banghert were disappointing experience overall. I will call again to try and see when my follow up should be with a new derm since that is a part of taking care of patients
