Scheduled an appointment in august of 2025. Dr. Le wrote me a prescription that indicated that my eyes were worse than my previous prescription. I had some finanial troubles and was not able to order the glasses until May of 2026.
Upon trying the glasses, i was unable to wear them due to the prescription being so off. I could barely read street signs.
I asked if i could bring my old prescription in to have the doctor write me that prescription since i know my old prescription was good. Doctor said i would need to make a new appointment and pay the $100+ exam fee because "my eyes may have changed since august"... even though my previous prescription works just fine, which means he simply wrote me an incorrect prescription.
All i want is what i paid for, a functional prescription. You can make this right by writing a new prescription without charging me another $100+
Until then, I will tell everyone i know to avoid this practice.
Please reconsider writing me a corrected prescription. I simply cannot afford to pay for another appointment right now and need new glasses.
Amy (the receptionist) was very friendly and courteous.

Brought a pair of frames in that needed a screw replaced. Instead of creating a ticket and making me return later to pick them up, they cheerfully did the work on the spot. Five stars for terrific attitude and customer service.

Vision works was supposed to close Sunday at 4! I got there at 3:30 and they were closed! Back in Michigan I was a member at LensCrafters until my insurance transferred to another company! I went to LensCrafters today and the Eyecare Advisor Ricardo Torres properly adjusted my glasses! They are very old and are now fitting brand new!

I would like to take this opportunity to commend Sue McAllister who was able to repair my glasses on spur of the moment notice and at no charge and with great enthusiasm and expert Repair skills.
I heartily and highly recommend Sue for any eyeglass service that you seek that is done correctly and with a smile.
When she finished the work I said she was my angel because I cannot see without my glasses and now my glasses are back and functioning.
She's the best and this organization is lucky to have her.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
