From exam to eye glass purchase there was all kinds of instructions as to what they were doing and why! Then no force about buying, I actually waited for 5 weeks before returning to the store and when looking at frames, the lady listened to me and did not try to upsell me. She gave me three options and allowed me time to decide. I would definitely recommend this exam and purchase store to anyone!

I had an awesome experience at LensCrafters in Surprise!
About two months ago, I had an issue with the fishing wire on my semi-rimless glasses. I took them to another optical department for a repair, but they told me they didn’t have the correct length of wire and had to rig the repair. Afterward, the frames never felt quite right.
Today, I noticed the wire was actually hanging out from the top of my frame. I first stopped at another optical center in Surprise that I knew did repairs, but they told me they wouldn’t repair frames that weren’t purchased from their location.
So I went to LensCrafters in Surprise — and what a difference!
From the moment I walked in, the team was friendly, welcoming, and completely confident that they could fix my glasses. Keep in mind, this was only about an hour and a half before closing.
Ricardo told me, “I’ll take care of your glasses. Just give me about an hour.”
I ran a few errands, and before long I received a call saying my glasses were ready. When I returned, Ricardo explained that he had straightened the frames and installed all-new wire. I put them on, and they felt fantastic — comfortable, straight, and sitting perfectly on my face.
I asked what I owed them, and they wouldn’t accept payment. I was told it’s LensCrafters' policy to provide these types of repairs at no charge.
The confidence, friendliness, and willingness to help really impressed me. Awesome job, Ricardo and the entire Lens Crafters team! You earned a very happy customer!

Sue was amazing! As a Viet Nam Marine veteran my eyeglasses were provided by the V. A. and not purchased at LensCrafters. Sue said " no problem" . They needed frame adjustments and she did her magic with the glasses. My wife was with me and got emotional as Sue worked on the adjustments. Sue did not act as if it was a job, but as an act of love. She blessed both of us by her care. We are truly blessed to have met her and thank LensCrafters for having such wonderful employees working on a Sunday. Sue is a caring and truly amazing person
THANK You

This place is amazing. They are always friendly and willing to help. I recently purchased lens for my glasses and 3 wks later I broke frame...I ordered the exact frame and went in to see if they could swap lenses....Andrea Kjeka helped me and took care of everything with no extra charge. I highly recommend these guys my whole family goes to this location and we are extremely happy with all of them.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
