Don’t trust the reviews on google because it’s a joke of a location with terrible management with fake reviews - this will probably get deleted too! Bathrooms are never up kept, lockers are dirty and will have residual hair and trash from other riders, half the bikes are broken, and I can’t even imagine what the floor looks like in the actual room if the lights are fully turned on. They are cheap and don’t keep it cold enough for when there are rides and everyone’s body heat already raises the temperature of the room, and everyone’s sweat and humidity makes it an absolutely terrible time without proper AC. Front desk people is a revolving door and no one knows what to do or how to do things, everything needs to be ran by the GM Sarah who is constantly on some trip and never at the studio, billing errors will continue happening and no one gets back to you. Don’t even try to call or text them, you won’t get through to anyone, but they have no problem making tiktok’s and videos for instagram. They’ve had so many bad reviews recently that the employees had to spam reviews with five star reviews, which is evident by Sarah Griffins review, which is the incompetent location GM.

Physical Assault and Racism at CycleBar Scottsdale on March 21 at 8:30 AM
I am writing this review to document a very disturbing incident I witnessed during a CycleBar class on Saturday, March 21, at approximately 8:30 AM.
During the class, a woman seated in the front row was riding while briefly using her phone. Another rider suddenly got off her bike, approached her from behind, and physically struck her while shouting aggressive and hostile remarks. From my position in the back corner of the room, I could not hear every word exchanged, but the interaction was clearly confrontational and escalated into physical contact.
The instructor, Maya, acknowledged the situation and stated that she knew both individuals, asking them to calm down and behave. However, the class was not stopped, and the situation was not fully addressed in the moment. Roughly 10 minutes later, the woman who had been struck left the class.
After the session ended, I spoke with the woman outside. She explained that she had been texting her husband briefly during the ride when another participant approached her, told her to get off her phone, and then escalated the situation into physical aggression. She also shared that she attempted to cancel her membership immediately following the incident, but despite multiple follow-ups over the past week, her request has not been honored.
From what I observed and what was shared with me, this situation raises serious concerns about safety, accountability, and how conflicts are handled within the studio. No individual should ever be subjected to physical aggression in a fitness class environment. Additionally, when an incident like this occurs, there should be immediate intervention, clear de-escalation, and follow-up support for the person affected.
There are also broader concerns about fairness and sensitivity. The woman who was targeted is a Muslim woman of color, and the nature of the interaction, combined with the lack of resolution afterward, raises concerns about whether bias may have played a role and whether the response from management has been adequate.
A fitness studio should be a safe and inclusive space for everyone—regardless of background, identity, or personal circumstances. What occurred that morning did not reflect those values.
CycleBar management needs to:
• Take incidents involving physical aggression seriously and respond immediately
• Ensure instructors are trained to properly stop and manage escalating situations
• Provide appropriate support and resolution for affected members
• Uphold a clear commitment to safety, inclusion, and accountability
This situation was deeply upsetting to witness. No one should feel unsafe in a space meant for health and community.
I hope CycleBar takes this matter seriously and implements meaningful changes to prevent anything like this from happening again.l
