I give it two stars because some of the practitioners are caring and compassionate professionals that work hard to provide quality care. I have been in GVC a great deal, having two babies with the OB's and taking my kids to well baby visits, etc. Their office is very busy most of the time. It is difficult if not impossible to get an appointment with my preferred practitioner. The kids play area is a nice feature in the waiting area, but if your healthy kids are playing with sick ones, they won't be well long. I have been to other offices (outside of Safford), that separate sick patients from well ones. My one child has immune issues and this has been a concern. My BIG complaint is that the office staff is extremely unfriendly. There is only one girl that is nice in the office. The others act as though it's a huge inconvenience to gaze through their window and talk to you. If you dare ask a question, get ready for some condescending look. I avoid this place because of the girls up front. Another issue we have had... our calls are not returned in a timely manner. The one and only pediatrician in town works here and he is very easy to work with; great with my five kids. Clearly the fact that he is the one and only pediatrician plays a large role in why so many people go here. Anymore, it is not worth dealing with the attitudes in the office. They also charge a lot of $ for records, which if you have a large family and have to pay by person, it can add up quickly. I will find another office, even if I have to drive out of town.
