  I highly recommend Matheson Dentistry. They have replaced 2 of my crowns and the new crowns are so solid and perfect, they're better than real teeth. Also, my gums tend to bleed easily, and Mindy has been able to still give me some of the best cleanings of my life, not once making me feel bad about my gums. My entire household has been and loves every dr and hygienist they've seen. Everyone at the office is friendly and helpful. The dentists and hygienists are professional and kind, knowledgeable and take pride in their work. I mean, what more could you want?

  Matheson Dentistry is a great place! They are friendly and accommodating. They have enough staff to schedule my wife and I at the same time. We first started going there because my wife doesn't like bite wing x-rays and this was one of the few places we could find that offered affordable alternatives. The teeth cleaning I had today was probably the most comfortable I've had for a while! It's a bit of a drive for us from east Mesa, but they are worth it!

  I cannot recommend the Matheson Dentistry team highly enough! I recently had all my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Brett and can honestly say that it was the best surgical experience and recovery I’ve ever had. Dr. Brett and Dr. Merrill were both incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, and reassuring, making the entire experience feel easy. Dr. Brett did an incredible job with my surgery and I truly believe his expertise contributed to such a smooth and straightforward recovery. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Merrill, was also amazing and made sure I was comfortable and well cared for throughout the procedure. The professionalism and compassion I received was truly great. Having wisdom teeth removed isn’t something most people look forward to, but the team at Matheson Dentistry made the entire process easier than I ever expected. I’m incredibly grateful for the exceptional care I received and would highly recommend Dr. Brett, Dr. Merrill, and the entire team to anyone looking for outstanding dental and surgical care!

  If you are looking for an excellent team of dentists in the East Valley, look no farther than Matheson Dentistry! The care is exemplary! The front office staff is efficient, personable and professional, the dental support staff and techs, efficient, friendly, talented! And the dentists!! They are in a word, AMAZING! Additionally, they have several types of financing for complex procedures if needed, and an excellent consultation staff to help you navigate through your dental process, from care to treatment to payment. VERY highly recommend Matheson Dentistry!

  My husband has been seeing them for a while to get a permanent bridge put in. To say the process has been painful is an understatement. He was nearing the end finally and they had him come in to test the bridge. The woman who removed his cap was tugging on it for over an hour. It was as if she had no idea what she was doing. He left there in pain and increased sensitivity. He had to go back the next day two more times to have the cap reseated due to sensitivity. He left feeling somewhat ok and it was a Friday. Well, Saturday he woke up in agonizing pain. He knew based on what they said that he would need a root canal if it didn’t get any better. They have no answering service for emergencies. They gave no other instructions for the pain if it came back. My husband ended up in the er and had to get tramadol for the pain. The next day (Sunday) more of the same. That night, I could literally see his face swelling from infection. He went in this morning to get the root canal and they charged him over 1000.00 for this service. Which is outrageous since there was no issue until after they removed and reseated the cap three times. Once this process is over, we will be finding a new dentist. I would also like to mention, if you do not advocate for yourself here, no one will. No one cares about your teeth here as much as you do. If you are getting an implant, research as much as you can because they will not be on top of what’s needed. My husband had to be the one to bring up teeth whitening or the fact that the first bridge had a midline completely off center from his bottom teeth and everything else. You think if you spends thousands, and I mean THOUSANDS of dollars here you might get a little better service and definitely more accountability when mistakes are made
