Helping Hands In-Home Care

Helping Hand's Attendant Care services provide care for those who require need help to stay at home. Attendant Care may include Personal Care, Meal Preparation, Homemaking, Companionship, and Errands. And like all our services, they can be customized to meet individual needs. Arizona Long Term Care and DES Department of Disabilities sometimes pay a family member to care for their loved one under Attendant Care.

We can assist with grocery shopping, meal preparation, monitoring diet and food intake, and clean-up.

We can help you pick up prescriptions, gather mail, or do general shopping.

When your dog or cat needs attention, we can help you with walking, feeding, playing, and grooming them.

Assistance with laundry, changing linens, garbage, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, caring for houseplants, and general housekeeping.

Activities with one of our caregivers may include going to a movie or restaurant, letter writing, reading, playing cards, general conversation, and more.

Transportation with accompaniment to events or to appointments.

Our full range of daily personal care services includes daily living activities such as bathing, hygiene support, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring, and ambulation.

Helping Hands offers complete coverage so your loved one can continue to enjoy the comfort of living at home – even with physical or cognitive challenges. We also make it a point to try to assign the same caregivers for each visit to ensure consistency of care.

Sometimes the hardest part of living at home for an elderly person is making it through the night. Helping Hands offers whatever overnight help is needed, including assistance going to bed, toileting, catheter care, personal hygiene, medication management, wound and skin care, and other skilled tasks. Your caregiver will be awake and alert all through the night – so you can rest easy.

Our dedicated and discreet caregivers provide a range of customized services to assist during the critical first weeks after surgery. We offer highly personalized care and support, transportation, homemaking, and companion services. These services enable your loved one to rest while limiting activities that might slow recovery and protecting privacy and dignity.

Respite care offers family caregivers temporary relief from caring for individuals with various needs. With a competent, reliable service provider on hand providing oversight and care to your loved one, you can feel free to leave for a specified period to attend to your own needs.

This service includes the provision of training and/or assistance in independent living skills or special developmental skills, orientation and mobility training, sensory-motor development, behavioral management, and supported employment.
