I paid for my eye exam here, and when I asked if they could simply measure my pupillary distance (PD) so I could order my prescription glasses, I was told they wouldn’t provide the measurement unless I purchased my glasses from them. I understand businesses want to make money, but refusing such a simple complimentary measurement to a paying patient feels incredibly money-hungry. Being a decent, patient-focused company really shouldn’t be that difficult. I called Nationwide Vision, and they were willing to measure my PD for me without making the purchase of glasses a requirement. That kind of customer service makes a difference. I’ll be going to Nationwide Vision for my eye care moving forward. Target Optical definitely lost a customer over something that could have been so simple.

They never verified with me that the address they were going to send it to was correct. I am not even sure how they got that address in the first place because the last time I ordered contacts from them they sent it to the correct address. I am still waiting to speak to a manger to resolve this issue. They said that they were going to call me back but haven’t. I am beyond disappointed.
