  I wanted to see the eye doctor I have not seen a doctor for about 7 years with Dr Thomas's Hannah at the front desk is the best I ever seen.excellent the best of all with Angel she was with me the whole time took her patience and wonderful person I wish I could give her 100 stars you looking for the right place this is it all the way to the end great job guys

  Dr. Thomas gave me a dangerous misdiagnosis. Had I trusted Dr. Thomas's diagnosis, I might have lost vision permanently in my eye. I went in to see Dr. Thomas on an Urgent Care referral after I woke up with double vision and ruptured blood vessels in my eye. Dr. Thomas prescribed me latanoprost for glaucoma (I'm 30 years old). I asked him if glaucoma could cause the symptoms I was seeing him for today. He said "I wonder... we'll check back in in a month and see if the latanoprost helps". I was highly suspicious of this conclusion and got a second opinion. The optometrist I saw for the second opinion noticed my eye appeared to be popping out of the socket but was not able to see any damage or swelling within the eye. He deduced that there was inflammation behind my eye in my optic verve. He ordered a few different CAT scans. The next day I was diagnosed with a carotid cavernous fistula, which can cause permanent severe vision damage within weeks if not treated. In fairness, carotid cavernous fistula is often misdiagnosed as conjunctivitis or another infection. But Dr Thomas had a profound lack of curiosity in his own questions. He doubted as well the likelihood that my symptoms could be caused by glaucoma but went ahead and prescribed treatment for glaucoma.

  I was referred to Dr Thomas by my physician. He refused to look at my eyelid, because I did not need an eye exam and I do not need glasses or contacts. I spent almost two hours in his office just to receive his refusal to help me.

  I had a great experience with Doctor Thomas. He was very gentle and he checked me out very well.
