Had a vision exam and ordered contacts and glasses. Everything was so smooth from the appointment to the consultation and the help received picking out frames. The doctor also made some recommendations for contacts that were night and day different from the brand I had bought for years. The management, staff and doctor were extremely helpful and friendly.

I went to Pearle Vision on Dove Valley because of my insurance. I walked in and was greeted by a nice girl behind the counter who verified my insurance. Then I proceeded to go look at some frames but none of the frames were priced. I asked a casually dressed man in jean and a polo what at the prices. He reponse were these are about such and such a price and these are a little more expensive and these and more but just pick out something and he would give me a price. Seems odd that nothing is priced compared to other eye frame places. I picked out a couple I liked and he said this one is price and this one is another price which was cheaper for designer price. I said how much are the progessive lenses, and he said you can have a tier 2 or a tier 3 or a tier 4 not understanting what these tiers really mean. I asked him to give me a prce for the two frames so I could compare prices. He was doing a bunch of scribbles on a pad, and he said this pair is X price, and this one is another price. I said how could the cheaper one that he quoted me a price on now be more expensive than the more expensive frame. He said i said this price on this frame was X amount wich was 30 more dollars than he quoted me. I feel this place is not honest on priceing and if you have insurance the jack the price up or make it whatever their commission they collect. I told the gentleman I'm going to go elsewhere as I don't think he is honest wtih pricing and couldn't really explain why all of a sudden, the price went up 30 dollars more than initially quoted. I went to LensCrafter which is owns Pearl or at least under the same umbrella as Pearl and the frame that I had picked out as 60 dollars there and all frames on priced on the rack. I asked the gentleman could I change out lenses on a pair of Meta AI Wayfair glasses and he quoted me $330. I went online and got the lenses replace for $80 dollars. I would steer away from this place if you wanted honest help with yoru glasses>
