- MPMichael L PlatteAug 23, 20261.0First off. I initially gave a higher star. They have you give a reviewing while waiting in order to get a discount in your glasses. My experience was absolutely not 5 star. **I had a very rushed and exam. My prescription felt perfect but the optometrist had me go down two levels, stating he did not want to have my eyes strained. Once we started discussing contacts and glasses the staff made me feel like I needed to hurry. **When I went to pick up my contacts I was charged additional money and I explained my benefits allowed for glasses and contacts. The Guy there told me I was wrong and insurances do not do that at all. Turns out I was right but he gave me attitude about it. **Then when I told them I didn’t think the prescription was correct they told me wait a week and let my eyes adjust. They didn’t and I went back and they did another check. He changed my prescription up one more level. The entire staff was rude and seemed inconvenienced by their mistake. **I decided a couple months later to go see old optometrist and turns my initial prescription was correct and there was no reason Pearle Vision should have him any levels on my prescription. *As other have also pointed out, call ahead to check hours. I showed up twice during the hours on the door and they were not open. I definitely would not recommend Pearle Vision.
