Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

This place is an absolute JOKE of a pharmacy. I have been going here for roughly 7 years, and slowly but surely I have watched the decline in service, empathy, and communication. The floater Pharmacist Eli is an obvious narcissist and has ZERO concern or empathy for you if you need your medications in the morning. Open at 9 am? Nope. You can't have your meds until after 2 pm, because he doesn't want to be bothered to fill them. Then there's the staff Pharmacist Daniel. He literally doesn't give a single flying duck about you, your medications, or how badly you need them. He will tell you he called your doctors office or faxed them so you can get your medications, only to find out he didn't make a single effort and after you call for a WEEK trying to get your medications filled because you lost your previous one and have a literal list of medical conditions as to why you need them, will only turn around and tell you, "nope we aren't doing it" My doctors office couldn't believe how he and Eli both treated them when they tried calling in and said that they are both being reported to the State Board because my doctor was disgusted with how they treat patients and the office themselves. They will put you on hold forever and eventually just hang up on you because everyone there is busy playing pocket pool and can't be bothered to actually do their jobs. If you want to go get your meds and find a pharmacy that actually cares, literally go anywhere else. Customer service, passion, empathy, morals, and many other things are dying in this world, but it's already completely dead at this pharmacy. I've studied medicine for YEARS, and I am appalled that these two "gentlemen" have any sort of degree when it comes to healthcare. They have no business handling people's medication and playing "god" with people's lives. If you have ANY sense, read this review and stay clear. They do not care about you. They care about that big pharmacist paycheck they get. They hated being techs, and now that they are Pharmacists, they take all of that pent-up frustration and inject it straight their ego. If I could leave less than 1 star, I would. I've had better customer service at a self serve car wash than I have ever had from this place.
