- EKEd KliskaSep 30, 20262.0There is 3 percent surcharge for using a Credit Card. The young optical assistant did not tell me about it before I signed as required by the Arizona Revised Statutes. The Arizona Revised Statute also requires it to be clearly posted in this store and this store is in violation. In fact, the young man asked he if I wanted a receipt - he did not seem to know that vision is deductible as a medical expense. I was also not given a breakdown of what expenses were included in the amount charged to my credit card. The contract this place has with United Healthcare requires a 30 percent discount for overage on frames. I have a feeling that I was not given the discount. The frames were not fitted to my face. The doctor was very friendly and competent. The store staff needs work. Every optical office I have been to in my 7 decades of existence has given me an Itemized Breakdown of charges. I intend to ask for one when my glasses come in and I go in to pick them up.

I let her know that I already had a doctor I was seeing for the cataracts, but she still took the time to complete a full eye exam, which was completely covered by my insurance with no out-of-pocket expense. They were able to get me in right away and took great care of me. I really appreciated how helpful, thorough, and accommodating Dr. Yousif and the staff were. Thank you!
