  I booked a routine eye exam because this office accepts EyeMed. I never asked for a diabetic eye exam. During my appointment I mentioned that I have Type 1 diabetes, and without explaining anything, they billed the visit through my medical insurance instead of my vision insurance. Nobody told me they were changing the type of exam, what it would cost, or gave me the option to decide before moving forward. I only found out after I received the bill. When I called to ask why, I was told I couldn’t have a regular eye exam because I’m diabetic, but nobody could clearly explain why or help me understand the billing. Instead, I felt like I was just being pushed aside. What’s the point of paying for vision insurance if I’m not even allowed to use it for a routine eye exam? The lack of communication and transparency was extremely disappointing. I won’t be coming back.. Ever.. OHHHH. One thing that really rubbed me the wrong way was seeing a sign at the front desk offering a discount for a review. That completely undermines the credibility of the ratings. It makes it hard to trust the reviews when people are being rewarded for leaving perfect scores. Between that and being blindsided by my bill, the whole experience felt dishonest.

  Trash service, price gouging, don't even THINK about going here. I'm out my insurance for exam and glasses/contacts, and I paid out of pocket $170. Now I have a pair of glasses I can 't use, I never bought contacts because they don't have the Acuvue Oasis trials on hand which I've been wearing for 20 years. Worst customer service, so awkward, limited products. Wish I didn't waste $500+ of my money. My wife liked a designer frame they had, they wanted $850+ for the frame + lenses, we bought the frame online and went to Costco for lens, same exact frame+lenses for $380 after tax. My biggest mistake was trying a "local" shop when we moved. Do yourself a favor and go to Costco instead, they have fair pricing, double the product selection, and you can get your money back if you aren't satisfied. All of the reviews have their generic response copy paste which demonstrates how they don't care. "Thank you for taking the time to leave an honest review, we appreciate the feedback. We are glad to hear that overall, you were satisfied with your visit."

  Two years in a row, they over charged and tested without consent. First year I thought it was an accident. Called several times and eventually I had to go in person to dispute and have removed. Now for my 2026 eye exam I specifically asked before my exam to not do any additional test outside of my covered insurance exam. Second year in a row, same situation. I don’t appreciate slimy medical providers sneaking in charges. I would not recommend and will not return. There are plenty of other options with in a mile of this place.

  Slow day at work and I decided to try for an eye exam during lunch break. Called and got an appointment same day. Arrived early and they accommodated me, getting me out in a timely fashion. Super friendly staff who helped me choose options for frames. Great experience!
