- JMJon MabbMay 20, 20262.0I was a cash pay customer and they quoted me between $120 and $200 for the visit depending on the complexity of the visit. I saw the doctor for 5 minutes. During the visit he looked at my eye and had me cover each eye and read a line on the chart. He prescribed me drops for a minor eye irritation. They charged me $210. So I guess a 5 minute visit is complex.

I told Dr that I was looking into contacts versus glasses and was curious as to the cost difference and what my insurance would cover. Dr did contact lens exam and receptionist tells me I need to pay $140 on the spot. Would have been nice to know the cost prior to exam so I could make the choice.
