My wife and I went into LensCrafters to purchase new glasses and were greeted by Brian Nagy as soon as we entered the store. Brian helped me with my selection and Ashley Martinez-Saldana waited on my wife. Both were very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and patient.
During the selection process they showed us several frames and lens options and were very patient while we made our selection. The buying process was transparent, honest, hassle-free, and went smooth from start to finish. It was a very pleasant experience working with Ashley and Brian.

On Sunday afternoon, I managed to get one of my contact lenses stuck under the eyelid. I knew it was in there. I could feel it, but I couldn’t see it. My eye doctors office was closed and so were most other eyeglass places.
My Google app showed me that LensCrafters near my home was open, so I called, and Tammy answered the phone. I described my dilemma, and she told me not to worry, she had experienced the same problem herself in the past and and it would come out.
She asked me a few questions, and she told me that I had done all the right things. However, it was still in my eye. There was no doctor available at that location that day, but they could refer me to another one where there was a doctor. But she offered to take a look at it, just to be sure it was actually in there. The bottom line was, that she was able to find the lens and helped me get it out.
I was impressed not only with Tammy‘s positive, reassuring manner and her expertise, but also the cleanliness and professional appearance of the store. I will definitely go there for my future vision needs.

I have gone to this location numerous times and it has Marcos as my helper, and he is absolutely awesome, I strongly encourage you to ask for him. He is very efficient and also is a good person to ask if the frames look good and I am pleased with this location it’s nearby and they take my vision insurance which I think is VSP. I do recommend LensCrafters. Bought these frames in the picture here. Also bought computer glasses and the same frame in black. Pardon my hideous face.

Scott was truly a gentleman and a scholar for helping me out. Was looking for someone to help me fix a watch and could not find a small enough screwdriver even for sale nearby and was luckily coincidentally next door at Chipotle getting food lol.
These guys were about to close and I walked in and told him my problem and he immediately went to work calling me back to assist in any way he could and, long story short, and well after closing.... he ended up fixing it!!!
He refused payment offer
When they talk about customer service and talk about people you want working on your car or anything else important, we are all thinking of someone like Scott. Somebody who goes out of their way at no advantage to themselves. At the risk of hyperbole I'd like to say....
Thank you Scott. What you do ripples out into the world like a pebble in a pond, changing lives and making a difference however small. Those ripples reverberate back to you and to everyone else, and that's the kind of world I want to live in.

The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because Oz is absolutely amazing at what he does. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and takes pride in helping people. Makayla (or Makenzie—I apologize if I have the name wrong) has also always been incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. If my experience had been limited to those two, this review would likely be very different.
Unfortunately, my experience with the doctor and the handling of my glasses issues was extremely disappointing.
From the beginning, I had problems with my glasses. When I first received them, I tried to give myself time to adjust to the new prescription because I understand that sometimes it takes a little while. After more than a week, however, I was still having significant issues, so I scheduled a re-evaluation.
During that appointment, the doctor seemed frustrated the entire time. He repeatedly huffed and sighed under his breath, making me feel as though I was inconveniencing him simply by trying to resolve a problem. By the end of the exam, he told me, "I don't know what else I can do for you. I'll just give you your old prescription back." As a result, they switched me back to my previous prescription.
Later, I received both my regular glasses and my sunglasses. Shortly afterward, my regular glasses had to be sent back because the staff suggested the lens type might not be the best option for me after I explained that everything appeared distorted. So once again, I waited for replacement lenses.
When the updated lenses finally arrived, I immediately noticed another issue. In darker environments, whenever I looked at something brighter—such as headlights, streetlights, illuminated signs, or screens—the lenses appeared hazy or foggy. The effect was especially noticeable while driving at night, which was concerning because I specifically need these glasses for driving.
This was not a matter of dirty lenses or fingerprints. I cleaned them thoroughly multiple times and experienced the same issue every time. In fact, when light is shined directly at the lenses, you can visibly see the hazy or foggy appearance. This is what I was trying to explain when I returned to the office.
When I came back, another staff member attempted to help me and suggested that what I was seeing was simply fingerprints being highlighted by the anti-glare coating. I explained that the glasses had already been cleaned and that the issue persisted regardless. The glasses were taken to be inspected, and I was told that no one could see what I was describing.
At that point, I was extremely frustrated. I knew I wasn't imagining the problem. I even showed the glasses to multiple coworkers, and they all agreed that something appeared off and that the lenses should be remade or further evaluated. Instead, I felt as though my concerns were repeatedly dismissed because the issue wasn't immediately obvious to someone else.
Ultimately, I decided to return the glasses and request a refund because I no longer felt confident that the issue would be taken seriously or resolved.
What still doesn't make sense to me is that my sunglasses were made at the same time using the same prescription, and they are perfectly fine. No distortion, no haze, and no problems whatsoever. The issues only existed with the clear lenses, which makes me believe there was something wrong that was never properly addressed.
Oz and Makayla/Makenzie were consistently professional, kind, and genuinely helpful throughout this process, and I appreciate them. Unfortunately, my overall experience left me feeling dismissed and treated as though I was the problem rather than a customer trying to get functional glasses.
I'm happy with my sunglasses, but the experience with my regular glasses was frustrating enough that I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
