Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

I have had awful experiences here! This past year idk what's going on with this pharmacy,!! To be fair, I worked for Frys Food for 15 yrs, AND used their pharmacies. I used this one on and off for 8 yrs. I always felt this store in particular was very slow in having meds ready for me. Their excuse was because they are a very busy store, especially in winter, due to " winter visitors." True, but then after decades, staffing is the issue, not their paying customers. Lately I have gotten so frustrated- so many excuses why i can't get my meds for days?!! I've heard 4 day wait- have to order? Ordering should be daily! ALSO, I use the drive-thru for conscience. Often have my Service Dog with me, AND personally, the store is so chaotic is rather not go inside. My friend drove me recently, AND it was early in the day. The drice-thru was CLOSED!!! NEVER EVER have I seen a drive-thru closed during business hrs! We were both astonished! We went inside, AND we're told that they were short-staffed. 2 ppl running a large pharmacy! Turns out, the pharmacist was a "floater", not from that store. The other worker was called in because 2 employees called out. It's true, 2 ppl can NOT maintain all areas of the pharmacy, so they closed the drive-thru, which still left them short 1 person! At least! The next 2 times I called in a prescription, because i don't receive the courtesy of " auto-fill renewal anymore?", I was told 4 day wait- not in stock. Never have I had so many issues here! They have also managed to mix up my payment status on NEUROLOGY meds, costing me thousands of #x27;s! The staff is NOT willing to help me out..telling me they don't know why the medication is not covered this time. Told me to do the research! Go talk to my Dr, call my insurance co, etc. All this has been REDICULOUS, AND I switched to Safeway pharmacy with NO PROBLEMS! Frys used to care about their customers, but apparently NOT ANYMORE!

Worst pharmacy ever. I have been let down by them way too many times. This place is a mess. Most of their employees have no customer service skills whatsoever. No one seems to care.
