- CCCathy CovoneMay 5, 20261.0The Pilates instructors are great, but unfortunately the way management handles memberships is very disappointing and, in my opinion, misleading. As a business owner myself, I would advise anyone signing up to be extremely careful, especially when it comes to cancellations and billing. I was overcharged for the past 3 months without any notification, and then they suddenly canceled my classes without even informing me. When I first noticed the issue, I clearly requested a refund. Instead, they tried to convince me to apply the balance toward another month of membership. I specifically said NO and requested my money back. It then took them an entire week to tell me the refund was “supposedly processed,” yet to this day the only money I recovered was through a claim with my bank/credit card company. After that, they also removed classes from my account even though I had already paid a month in advance, and they did it without any notice. They currently still owe me 5 classes. After being a loyal member for 5 years and completing over 350 classes, I expected much better treatment and professionalism. Instead, I’ve experienced several shady situations that make me seriously question how they operate their business. What made things even worse was that during our conversation, management decided to hang up the phone on me instead of resolving the issue professionally. Saying “the system does that” is just an excuse to avoid accountability and properly helping paying customers. I highly recommend reading all the fine print before signing up. The instructors deserve credit, but management seriously needs customer service and business management training.
