Customer service skills and empathy needs to be taught at this pharmacy. Every time I have ever reached out to this pharmacy and a woman answers the phone Their attitudes are extremely nasty, dismissive, and rude. Today I called in knowing for a fact, an urgent care doctor sent over three prescriptions last night. The lady on the phone claimed they weren’t sent in after checking for 35 seconds. I then had to call the urgent care and they confirmed they were sent last night when I tried to call the pharmacy back to confirm She answered the phone and hung up on me. This is not the first time this exact situation like this has happened at this pharmacy even though I stopped going to the pharmacy in 2024 because of this same situation & behavior. Every single time there’s a gentleman (bald I believe an actual pharmacist) that is extremely helpful, polite and kind. He was able to confirm within two minutes of me calling back (third time) that they did get the prescriptions & would be working on it. —- my requests have never been special or out of the ordinary the women just don’t want to work. Safeway -please layoff/replace the nasty customer service females that work here obviously they don’t enjoy the job they picked and are a waste of company budget!!!! Years this has been going on that’s why I switched to Sunlife pharmacy.

This has to be the worst pharmacy anywhere. I go in with a GoodRX GoldCupon that GoodRX sent me for Safeway Pharmacy for the prescription I was there to pick up. Lady argued with me that there was no coupon for that prescription and that my GoodRX Gold account did not exist. It does and I literally had the coupon on the app from GoodRX. This is about the 3rd time they have tried this. Finally the Pharmacist came over and found the coupon and my account. But not until I told them to cancel the order and I would go somewhere else. Just to be clear this was a $ 20.00 discount they tried to not honor. But this is the last time I use Safeway. Fry's is just up the road and they don't seem to have a problem finding the GoodRX account and the generally have the discount coupon from GoodRX applied with out me telling them. Sorry Safeway but between bad service at the Pharmacy, people working in the store and the bad gas I got and Safeway refusing to pay for the repairs I will not shop at Safeway or Albertsons ever again.
